Here is where you'll find what we do for you, the dam owner, in stud services while still protecting both parties.

The process:

1. We will ask that the dam at least be AKC registered. We prefer that she also have health testing completed prior to breeding and must be at least 20 months old but no older than 5 years old. She must be current on vaccinations and proof of such provided within 90 days of breeding.

2. Both dam and sire must have a negative brucellosis test provided to each party within 45 days of the pairing taking place. 

3. Prior to pairing the stud contract must be signed and completed by both parties, and stud fee deposit of $500 made. (This deposit will be returned if a tie does not occur.) The remaining balance is due at the time the dam is picked up from our facility. 

4. Dam must come to the sire where he is most comfortable for the best results in a natural breeding/live cover. Note* We are willing to meet at our reproduction vet, or Dam's Owner's preferred reproductive vet (given that it is within a reasonable driving distance) for artificial insemination. All costs of AI must be covered by dam's owner. We will provide a semen analysis report within 30 days prior to breeding live cover or AI. 

5.  WE DO OFFER BOARD & BREED! For boarding the dam must be a progesterone level of 16 or higher. We will board free of extra charge for 3 days; every additional day is $25 extra boarding fee. Please provide a resealable bag of each day's worth of the dam's preferred food. If using our food, we feed pawTree Turkey and Sweet Potatoes recipe to our breeding dogs. An additional $25/day charge will be added if Dam is to use our food, we prefer she have her own.

6. At pickup, any unconsumed food belonging to the Dam will be returned to Dam's Owner upon completion of payment of the final balance. 

7. After 30 days the dam is to see a veterinarian for pregnancy conformation ultrasound. If the dam is found to not be pregnant Dam's Owner can request a refund or choose for free rebreeding until a viable pregnancy is achieved. Please notify us of these results as soon as possible, and when the litter has been born.

8. We guarantee a 2+ live puppies only 3 times. If the first litter does not result in a successful litter of 2 or more live puppies, we suggest the dam see a licensed reproductive vet for further investigation. If by the third time the dam has not had a successful litter of 2 or more live puppies, we will no longer offer stud services to the selected dam.

9. We will sign off on the litter registration paperwork if all the following has been completed: Stud contract completed, stud fee paid in full, any additional boarding charges paid in full if applicable.
